Ordering prints / merchandise

1. How long will my order take?

Depending on where you live in the world, we aim to get your prints to you within 14 days from your payment clearing.  Usually orders will be dispatched within a couple of days but please allow time for reordering of stock and busy holiday seasons. We will always endeavour to let you know if this will be longer for any reason. Bespoke artwork and commissions will be delivered to you by arrangement.

2. Do you take wholesale orders?

Yes, this can be arranged. Please contact us for details and prices.

3. My item is damaged on arrival.

Everything is packaged very securely and thoroughly. Any item damaged as a result of postal and delivery companies should be claimed directly against them and we will assist in every way possible. Refunds will only be given upon return of or clear photograph of, damaged goods if deemed the fault of our product or packaging.  Refunds will not be issued for bespoke artwork or mind changing. Refunds are not given as a result of late arrival through fault of the delivery service; every order dispatched has proof of postage and we make every effort to ship your goods as soon as possible.

4. Is your website safe to order by credit / debit cards?

Yes, completely. All our payment are directed to Paypal and therefore no sensitive information is ever processed directly by this website, nor are any of your banking details ever stored by us. Your name and address are only ever used to ship your items and emails will only be used to contact you regarding your order or enquiries.  Your personal details will never be used for other purposes or passed to a third party. You do not need a Paypal account in order to make a purchase.

Art and Commissions

1. How much do you charge for a picture?

Firstly, it can vary - a lot! Please have a think about the style of artwork you would like to enquire about; would you like a realistic portrait or cartoon? Full colour or rendered in pencil; face only or full length body pose? These are all ideas to consider and can speed up your initial inquiry. As a rough guideline, black and white pencil sketches start at £50, and up to £70 for a full pencil portrait. Colour cartoon images start at £50 and full colour portraits will start from £100. All prices are given according to amount of detail required. I aim to keep my prices reasonable but please do consider the amount of time it takes to complete a piece and the nature of your request.

2. How do I order a commissioned piece of art?

Once you know what style of picture you would like, then please contact me either by email or social media. I generally have a waiting list, so please be prepared for this if you require your picture for a particular occasion, and aim to place your order at least six weeks before. From your enquiry, we can talk through exactly how you'd like your art to look and any ideas you may have. Once this is confirmed and you are happy with the details, a deposit is required to secure your order and for me to proceed with a concept sketch if needed. Small changes can be made at this stage to elements of the artwork prior to starting the final piece. Please note that requiring additional components that were not previously discussed and quoted within the initial price, will result in a specified extra charge. Extra charges are made for additional lettering required or receiving a digitally scanned copy of your picture.

3. Why do you need a deposit?

Simply to secure the order and to cover my time and work on the concept sketch. Many artists are victim to sketching out tattoo ideas, logo concepts etc, only for these to be taken to elsewhere.  A non refundable deposit covers the sketch, time and concept work.

4. I really like your art ( thankyou!) - will you draw me? I can't afford to pay you but it'll be great exposure!

Myself and other artists hear this a lot, on a daily basis in fact! The short answer is sorry, no. Art is my full time career and I have to earn money for a living, so unfortunately I cannot give my time and work for free. Occasionally I may approach models or paint celebrities who I feel would make a terrific subject to paint, but rarely do I work for strangers for free.

5. I've seen your work, can you do a portrait of my child / dog / granny / landscape garden?

My apologies but my work concentrates on my specific genre; Pin up girls,Vintage and Rockabilly. There are many wonderful artists out there who specialise in these portraits in other fields. I also do not consider distasteful or graphic requests!

6. Can you draw me from photographs or do I have to sit for my portait?

Photographs are fine, though please ensure they are clear! Using photograph reference, enables me to work with you wherever you are in world and on a time frame convenient for both of us. I can however, upon arrangement and suitable fee, be available for photo shoots tailored specifically to your request.
